Registered Ferrous and non-ferrous merchants since 1975

History of Trigg Bros

Established in 1975 by brothers Robert and Carl Trigg, Trigg Brothers was born out of years of experience working for their father,  AJF ‘Jimmy’ Trigg, at his company specialising in the dismantling and removal of machinery and associated products and the demolition of large buildings and industrial premises.

Since its conception, Trigg Brothers has lent its hand to all areas of the growing UK recycling movement, initially specialising in the export of used commercial vehicles and parts worldwide, the purchase of ferrous of non-ferrous metals and services we have built a reputation for professionalism and have conducted business with some of the largest UK and European industry leaders and blue chip companies, as well as breweries, the MOD, and UK customs and excise.

During the 1980s, Trigg Brothers was alone in being the largest independent recycler of Aluminium cans in the UK through our dealings with UK based breweries and drinks companies.

Moving into the future, Trigg Brothers is now proud to count ourselves amongst the market leaders in the recycling of all waste metals and alloys, and the purchase and disposal of other waste associated products, expanding into both European and worldwide markets.

Our company is pleased to inform of the addition of Carl Trigg’s son: Alex Trigg, who is bringing a new look, fresh ideas and the skills needed to take this strong, family-run business firmly into the 21st Century. We look forward to hearing from you.

Regards Alex and Carl
